Old Classic Admin for Shopify

Old Classic Admin for Shopify (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension developed by ecomfaktory (“we”, “us”). It changes how the Shopify admin looks in your own browser: it moves the search bar, hides the Sidekick panel, recolors the sidebar, widens narrow pages and tightens table rows. This policy explains what it does with your information, which is almost nothing.

Information we collect

None. The Extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information, store data, browsing history, or page content. It has no account, no analytics and no tracking, and it makes no network requests.

Information stored on your device

The only thing the Extension saves is the on/off choice for each tweak. It is kept in your browser through Chrome's storage API. If you have Chrome sync turned on, Chrome may sync these choices across your own devices as part of your Google account; we never receive them.

Access to Shopify admin pages

The Extension runs only on admin.shopify.com, and only to change the appearance of the page. It does not read, copy, store or send your store data, orders, customers or any other content shown there. It does not touch your Shopify account or your store.

Welcome page and links

When you first install the Extension, a welcome page opens once. It contains links to other apps by ecomfaktory on the Shopify App Store and to this website. Nothing is loaded from those sites until you click a link. After you click, the destination site's own policy applies; this website's is described on our privacy page.

Data retention and deletion

We hold no data about you. Removing the Extension deletes its saved choices from your browser. You can also clear them any time from Chrome's extension settings.

The Extension is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify Inc.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
